Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components for various projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving abilities, and an in-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on exciting projects that contribute to the design and optimization of high-quality products and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems, products, and components based on project requirements.
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with other engineers, designers, and teams to refine and improve designs.

Analysis & Testing:

• Perform engineering analysis to evaluate design performance, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis (using FEA, CFD, etc.).
• Conduct prototype testing and gather data to ensure product designs meet the required specifications and industry standards.
• Perform failure analysis and develop solutions to improve the reliability and functionality of mechanical systems.

Project Management & Documentation:

• Develop project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, production staff, and quality control teams, to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction in mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong background in designing and testing mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and regulatory compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in challenging design scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, and control systems.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient technologies.
• Certification or membership in professional engineering organizations (e.g., ASME, IEEE) is a plus.
