AutoCAD Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and a background in engineering design, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and plans. The AutoCAD Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, modifying, and optimizing engineering drawings and blueprints for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD software, ensuring high precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop technical designs, layouts, and schematics.
• Produce drawings for manufacturing, construction, or other engineering purposes in line with industry standards.
• Review and analyze design plans and blueprints for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant engineering codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and revise design documentation, including plans, technical specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure that designs align with project requirements and timelines.
• Provide technical support and solutions to challenges encountered during the design or construction phases.
• Maintain and organize design files and records for easy access and review.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving overall design processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience using AutoCAD software to create detailed technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and design standards.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot design inconsistencies or errors.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of engineering materials, construction methods, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with other software tools such as Revit, SolidWorks, or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
