Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in creating electrical drawings for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise and detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other electrical drawings in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Drafting with AutoCAD:
Create accurate 2D and 3D electrical drawings, including power, lighting, control circuits, and wiring diagrams, using AutoCAD software.

Design Collaboration:
Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and designers to understand design requirements and accurately translate them into CAD drawings.

Electrical Schematics and Diagrams:
Produce electrical schematics, connection diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing drawings for construction or installation purposes.

Drafting Standards Compliance:
Ensure that all electrical drawings comply with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEC 60204).

Revisions and Updates:
Modify existing electrical drawings based on project revisions or updates, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected and properly documented.

Quality Assurance:
Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, and ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements:

Education:
A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CAD, Electrical Design) are an asset.

Experience:
 Fresher or Minimum 2-4 years of experience in electrical drafting, with hands-on experience in creating electrical drawings using AutoCAD. Prior experience with electrical schematic drawing is preferred.

Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D), with experience in electrical drawing tools and plug-ins such as AutoCAD Electrical.

Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, panel layouts, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEC 60204).
• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) wiring diagrams and control panel design.
• Knowledge of Revit or other BIM software for electrical design.
• Ability to create 3D electrical models or simulations in AutoCAD
