Design Engineers

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D drawing) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills and a solid understanding of design principles. We are particularly interested in candidates with a diploma in mechanical or civil engineering. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Develop design layouts, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical, structural, or civil engineering projects.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to finalize designs and address design challenges.
• Review and analyze designs for completeness, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including design, drafting, and documentation.
• Assist in preparing design documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
• Ensure the integration of design changes or updates into the drawing files.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and timelines.
• Continuously enhance skills in AutoCAD and other relevant software to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field (preferred).
• Proven experience with AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and drafting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD commands and basic drafting principles.
• Familiarity with design concepts, engineering principles, and material properties.
• Attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with engineers and project managers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit) is a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and engineering regulations.
• Experience in design optimization and troubleshooting during the drafting process.
• Basic knowledge of product lifecycle management or project management tools is a plus.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when addressing design issues.
