Design Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer or AutoCAD Designer with expertise in 2D drafting and solid modeling using tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings, modifying existing designs, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

2D Drafting with AutoCAD:
Develop and produce precise 2D CAD drawings for various design projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in technical specifications.

SolidWorks 3D Modeling:
Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks software, ensuring all design requirements are met.

Design Modifications:
Make necessary modifications to existing designs, ensuring alignment with updated specifications or feedback from project stakeholders.

Technical Documentation:
Generate technical reports, design schematics, and part lists to support manufacturing and assembly processes.

Technical Support:
Provide technical assistance during the production and assembly process, solving any issues related to CAD drawings or design specifications.

Requirements:

Education:
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,Diploma , ITI  Industrial Design, or a related field. Relevant certifications or technical diplomas are a plus.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, or design engineering roles. Prior experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a must.

Software Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SolidWorks (3D modeling). Familiarity with other design tools or software is an advantage.

Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.

Problem-Solving Abilities:
Ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose effective design solutions.

Attention to Detail:
High level of precision and attention to detail in creating and modifying technical drawings and designs.

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively collaborating with team members, vendors, and clients.

Time Management:
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, ISO, or other relevant guidelines.
• Experience with CAD data management tools.
