Job Description
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance:
Maintain and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all financial data in Tally Prime.
Prepare and update financial statements, ledgers, and journals in compliance with accounting standards.
GST Compliance:
Calculate and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and within deadlines.
Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including input tax credit reconciliation and maintaining proper documentation.
TDS Management:
Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates, ensuring timely deposits to the government.
Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 26Q, Form 27Q, etc.) and ensure correctness of data.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
Generate GST and TDS-related reports from Tally to assist in management decision-making.
Reconciliation:
Perform reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliation, vendor, and customer accounts.
Reconcile GST and TDS liabilities with the corresponding returns and ensure that any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Audit Support:
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to GST and TDS.
Prepare audit schedules and support documentation as required.
